2017 LTG (Ret) H.G. “Pete” Taylor Partnership of Excellence Award

Congratulations to the 2017 winners of the Pete Taylor Partnership of Excellence Award.

Coalition salutes partnerships between military installations, school districts and higher education serving military children.

The Military Child Education Coalition presented well-deserved awards and recognition to outstanding schools, installations and individual program achievement at this year's National Training Seminar in Washington, DC. The LTG (Ret) H.G. “Pete” Taylor Partnership of Excellence Award, recognizes successful partnerships and projects benefitting military children, and is given in two areas: K-12 and higher education. The K-12 award may represent a single project in which a military installation and one or more school districts participated, or it may be a summation of the entire program between a military installation and the school districts serving an installation. The Higher Education Award, recognizing the efforts that exist in our colleges and universities, highlights and encourages the outstanding teacher preparation programs that include critical information and experience focusing on military-connected children.
