It’s FAFSA time again!

FAFSA is an acronym for the Free Application for Federal Student Aid. Part of the U.S Department of Education, Federal Student Aid is the largest provider of student aid in the nation. Federal Student Aid provides more than $150 billion in federal grants, loans, and work study funds to more than 13 million students. The new application is released in January of every year and can be found at https://fafsa.ed.gov/, the official government website.

Getting kids on the right track with early science education

Military student transition consultant joins Muscogee County School District

There are nearly 60 public schools — elementary, middle, high and alternative — in the Muscogee County School District. And if you’re a military student moving to the area, Darlene Register can help place you in the right one. Part of a pilot program started this school year, Register is the new military student transition consultant for the district. She helps military families PCSing to Fort Benning get everything they need to have their children enrolled in the right school.
