MCEC Course Catalog
The Military Child Education Coalition Professional Development Course Catalog provides information regarding suggested institutes for stakeholders, descriptions of each institute, terminal learning outcomes, requirements, and credit. The MCEC is an authorized provider for the International Association for Continuing Education Training (IACET), the National Board for Certified Counselors (NBCC), and a number of state agencies. In addition, graduate credit is available for the institutes.
Included in the catalog are the Transition Counselors Institute (3 phases), Special Education Leaders Institute (2 phases), Supporting Children of the National Guard and Reserve Institute, Parent to Parent, Student 2 Student, Junior Student 2 Student, Living in the New Normal, and the early literacy initiatives of Growing, Learning, Understanding, and Tell Me A Story.
