Robert “Bob” Ray

Robert “Bob” Ray, an Air Force brat, soldier, and then DoD civilian spent all but four years of his life living and or working in the military community, both overseas and in the U.S.  His last assignments before retiring in 2004 were as Chief of Staff of the DoD Education Activity and then Deputy Director of the DoD Domestic Dependent Elementary and Secondary Schools.  Bob holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Human Resources from Saint Leo University and currently owns a small Bed and Breakfast in Savannah, Georgia.  He has two daughters and two grandchildren.  Bob was chair of MCEC’s 2006 annual conference committee, volunteer project manager for MCEC’s U.S. PACOM Transition Study, currently serves as volunteer project manager for MCEC’s contracts, and is a finance committee member.
