Interstate Compact
The Military Child Education Coalition applauds the Council of State Governments for its work on the Interstate Compact on Educational Opportunities for the Military Children. We appreciate all efforts by state and national policy makers and advocacy organizations to ease the challenges faced by America's almost two million military children. Sensitivity to the complexities of school transitions is especially important during these times of increased deployments and extended family separations. The Military Child Education Coalition offers our assistance and support. The MCEC is honored to have participated in the development team for the Compact and are happy to respond to any questions.
