The Pete Taylor Partnership of Excellence Award recognizes successful partnerships and projects that ultimately benefit military-connected children.
MCEC will recognize outstanding Partnerships, Collaborations, Initiatives and Projects
between school districts and military installations that are making a difference for
military-connected children in their local communities!
Presented at the 2019 National Training Seminar in Washington D.C. on July 23rd, awards will be given out in both K-12 and Higher Education categories.
The Award is given in two areas: K-12 and higher education. Given annually, the K-12 award may represent a single project in which a military installation and one or more school districts participated, or it may be a summation of the entire program between a military installation and the school districts serving an installation. The higher education award highlights and encourages the outstanding teacher preparation programs that include critical information and experience focusing on military-connected children.
