Through selected topics, these webinars address some of the challenges taking place in today’s world.
Each topic has tailored content specifically for educators, parents, and students, and our hope is that you will find value in the information provided and explore opportunities to generate discussions.

Grief is a normal reaction to the death of someone in a child’s or teen’s life. Grief is as unique to each grieving person as was the relationship they had with the person who died. Grief does not happen in a series of predictable stages. The way a child or teen grieves is dependent upon a number of factors, including their developmental age, the relationship they had with the person who died, their personality and temperament, the way others in the family are grieving, and their relationship with other caring people in their lives. Listen in as subject matter expert, Mr. Andy McNiel from Tragedy Assistance Program For Survivors (TAPS) shares how grief impacts children and how caring individuals in their lives can help them.
