HARKER HEIGHTS, Texas — The Military Child Education Coalition® has encouraged Americans to “Do the Math and Be Part of the Solution” as their official Back to School fundraising campaign which launches today.
The campaign’s theme highlights six military-connected kids and reflects the education challenges they have faced due to military transitions including number of: moves, new schools, times being the new kid, and deployments and separations.
“Together, through the generosity of every donor, MCEC can continue to provide value-added, life-changing resources, programs, and initiatives, at no charge, to help more than 1.2 million military-connected kids around the world be college-, work-, and life-ready,” said Cindy Simerly, MCEC Vice President of Fund Development. “Please Do the Math, and you’ll see that your support makes it possible to be the best solution for these deserving military-connected children.”
Donations in support of this campaign can be made by texting “MILCHILD” to 56512, through the donate button on the official MCEC® website at MilitaryChild.org, and through the digital giving option on the MCEC Facebook page at MilitaryChild.
