What is a MSTC:

The Military Student Transition Consultant is a full time highly specialized education professional embedded within the Local Education Agency (LEA) able to support students, parents and school personnel on a daily basis. The MSTC is trained, supported, and managed by the MCEC. 

The MSTC serves as an expert navigator and advocate for military connected students and families, providing a continuum of care from entry to exit

Services Provided:

  • Assistance with your education questions.
  • Assistance with school transitions.
  • Support for special needs student school transitions.
  • Professional Development facilitation for educators on issues surrounding pre-deployments, deployments and transitions.
  • Referrals for installation services and resources.
  • Presentations and Community Network support.
