Kyle Wood

Kyle is a longtime educator and nonprofit operations and finance leader with over fifteen years of experience in and out of the classroom. He started with Teach For America in Atlanta, GA, teaching special education middle school math. After teaching for several years, he became a school administrator and most recently served as the Director of School Operations for Achievement First’s flagship high school in New Haven, CT. While there, he managed a large team of non-instructional staff while driving operational improvements and fostering a healthy staff culture. He holds bachelor’s degrees in English and Software Development, and master’s degrees in Education and Business Administration. When he’s not hard at work, you can find him reading a book, getting some exercise, or spending time with his wife and beagle.
